Impulsi transitori was commissioned on the occasion of Fuorisalone 2018, for the Triennale Design Museum Stories exhibition. the piece is inspired by ELEA 9003, the first commercial transistor computer developed in Italy by Olivetti and designed by  Ettore Sottsass.
